The car was destined for 2WD Open Class (aka. Group 2). With significantly more freedom for modifications, the car got a gnarly B23 race motor. |
The front end is rebuilt with lighter, tubular steel, sub framing was removed whenever possible for weight savings... |

| The car was now #11 and sported a new paint scheme -- rainbow stripes. (This show shows it before it got fog lamps -- definitely the Gorman motel in the back). | Tarmac with fog lamps and Compomotive rims. Nice antenna on the roof, too. |
